Dr. Nick Greenwood is Board Certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine and practices in downtown Salt Lake City. He is the founder and CEO of Greenwood Addiction Physicians. Dr. Greenwood earned a medical degree at the University of Arkansas College of Medicine. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, subsequent to which he completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of Utah/Salt Lake Regional Hospital. Additional postgraduate training includes certification and waiver to treat opioid dependence with buprenorphine. Dr. Greenwood has practiced Addiction Medicine exclusively for the past five years. He has consulted for numerous treatment centers, including Recovery Ways, Turning Point, and Lighthouse Recovery. He has served as Medical Director of the Department of Chemical Dependency at Salt Lake Behavioral Health Hospital, and Senior Partner and Medical Director at Steinmann Institute. Dr. Greenwood is a diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the Utah Society of Addiction Medicine.
